Many High schools/ Middle schools has ACLU clubs, for advocating and defending human rights. It can engage and expose you in various government and politics topics. If you school don't have one, simply start one of your own!

High school teams of attorneys and witnesses prepare the case for trial and compete at district levels before real judges in actual courtrooms.
